Why this source was used
The LIRA is a quarterly model-based forecast of short-term (four-quarter) changes in national owner-occupied remodeling spending. It combines housing and economic indicators benchmarked to AHS spending data. LIRA provides directional market context — whether renovation spending is accelerating or decelerating — and is the primary leading indicator cited in industry and policy discussions of the renovation market cycle.
