The RRP Rule (40 CFR Part 745, Subpart E) requires EPA-certified firms and certified renovators for work in pre-1978 housing that disturbs lead-based paint above de minimis thresholds (6 sq ft interior, 20 sq ft exterior per room). Mandates containment, lead-safe work practices, HEPA cleanup, and cleaning verification.
